Do you D-A-R-E to challenge yourself to become self-confident? Do you feel put aside at home, school, or mandir? Do not worry! By keeping some D-A-R-E within yourself you can solve your problem.

Develop – The best thing to do when you are afraid, scared, or worried, is to prepare a plan to execute. This plan should be something that is easy to practice over and over again, such as a speech rehearsal. Ask around to get help with techniques with speaking, acting, singing, or whatever you are having difficulty with.

Act – Once there is a developed plan to follow, it is very important to follow through completely. Just Do It! When you allow yourself to loosen up and force your mind and body to just get it done, your results will improve on their own.

Realize – Look around you, no human being is ever perfect! The reality is that people do make mistakes but they are forgiven as easily as they are made. So do not stress over it!

Experience – Go ahead and experience self-confidence for yourself in person. The most struggling part is to face your fears without being turned down. How do you do that? The number one reason people fear themselves is because they create negative images about themselves, which buries them into a hole. To resolve this, all that is needed is some curiosity and…spoof! The world will open up in front of your eyes and you will automatically feel more self-confident.

This is a process that does not happen over single night or a couple of days. To become more self-confident, it takes practice like anything else in life. If you start early though, like Pramukh Swami Maharaj has said for many things, you will become more successful, guaranteed!
